Instead of calling it consulting, I think about engaging with companies as a "fractional CXO." I provide the input of a seasoned executive without the commitment of adding a full time person to your team. However, this won’t be a symbolic engagement. I’ll be hands on, working with your team on high impact projects and helping to make key decisions. Usually, I'll work with your team on a specific project but will also be available as a sounding board and will think of your company as my own. That means being an evangelist, making connections to strategic customers and partners, and helping with recruiting and other intros where appropriate.
